Very informative and useful
My daughter attended the 3 days workshop . She found it very useful and informative, the overall workshop was packed and loaded with very useful information . Which has now boosted her knowledge and confidence. They were able to interact with each other , on various topics to do with soft skills. I believe the information learnt from the workshop would go a long way . And l would highly recommend this workshop for the targeted age group.
I couldn't have done it without their help.
Graduating in the year 2020 was daunting for everyone who had to do it. We were tasked with starting our careers during the worst economic downturn in a century while adhering to the restrictions put in place to stop the spread of Coronavirus.
I faced the challenge of trying to sell myself to employers who were sceptical of my course background. Before receiving help from Mrs Bunmi Adekeye (The Smart Kid), I had sent over 100s of applications over the space of a year and only been called for 2 interviews. Mrs Adekeye took the time to scrutinize my CV and cover letters, giving me step by step instructions on how to improve them. I had weekly calls with her where she talked me through each of my drafts and advised me on which of my strengths and experiences I should emphasize to sell myself best.
In the end, I was successful in my application for two jobs. One of which was a job in creative marketing which was my dream Industry. I can confidently say that if it wasn’t for the help I received from Mrs Adekeye, I would not have been able to get these jobs. I can’t thank her enough.
Great webinars and hands-on support on the whole university admissions process
My 17-year old son attended 3 personal statement webinars hosted by Smart Kid. He also attended the Soft Skills workshop held in 2020. The courses boosted his confidence in the whole process. He learnt a lot and wrote a very good personal statement.
Bunmi also provided invaluable hands-on support throughout the university application process, and I’m so grateful. She was never too busy to answer questions about university offers and the whole process. Her support was really invaluable to a parent like myself who is navigating this process for the first time. I would highly recommend her services.
Smart Kids get smarter
My 17 year old daughter attended, her confidence grow, she learnt how to present herself at interviews and the employer expectations. If you have a young person who is struggling or you believe needs support then I highly recommend that S/he attends.
